In case you didn't already know...

Die 1975 in London gegründeten Sex Pistols begründeten die Punkbewegung in Großbritannien und inspirierten viele spätere Punk- und Rockbands. Angeführt von Johnny Rotten und mit Sid Vicious am Bass veröffentlichten sie ihren berüchtigten Song „God Save the Queen“. Mit nur einem Album, „Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols“, und einer zweieinhalbjährigen Bandkarriere wurden sie 2006 in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen, weigerten sich jedoch, an der Zeremonie teilzunehmen.
