Das Debütalbum der Industrial-Rock-Band erschien ursprünglich im Oktober 1989. Das Album, dessen stark synthiegetriebener elektronischer Sound mit Industrial- und Rock-Elementen vermischt ist, weist wenig Ähnlichkeit mit den späteren Werken der Band auf. Im Gegensatz dazu behandeln die Texte des Albums, ähnlich wie die späteren Werke der Band, Themen wie Angst, Verrat und Liebeskummer. Das Album wurde mit den Singles „Down in It“, „Head Like a Hole“ und „Sin“ beworben.
