Cypress Hill is a Latino-American hip hop group from California who received fame for first two albums Cypress Hill and Black Sunday. Their most popular hit was Insane in the Brain, released in 1994. The vocal style of member B-Real gave them a distinct and identifiable edge, and their music style was often noted as being slow, psychedelic and bass-heavy. The group were notorious for endorsing marijuana, and even started Smoke out Music Festival - a concert that caters specifically to cannabis users and medical marijuana patients
